Assessment and Testing

Part of my practice is devoted to assessment and testing. This involves psychological or neuropsychological evaluations to help children who are experiencing academic and behavioral issues at school. These difficulties can be mild learning disabilities, ADHD, social problems, or more pronounced problems such as Autism.

A thorough neuropsychological evaluation provides a window into the child or adolescent’s cognitive and emotional functioning. This allows us to understand their strengths and weaknesses, along with their learning style. When the child’s learning style is understood an educational approach can be designed to best match their style.
